Maui County is contemplating the acquisition of a 6.Three-acre parcel that features The Maui Information workplaces in Wailuku.
Maui Information has a letter of intent from the county to buy the land and buildings on the newspaper’s property at 100 Mahalani Road. If the sale goes by, The Maui Information will lease the rear county constructing and proceed to function at its present location.
The Maui County Council Committee on Price range, Finance and Financial Improvement will talk about the potential buy at its assembly at 1:30 pm Wednesday.
