Kenosha County has obtained Emergency Meals and Shelter Program funds within the quantity of $ 77,211 to complement ongoing meals and shelter packages. EFSP funds are awarded by the Division of Homeland Safety.
A neighborhood board made up of representatives from authorities and non-profit businesses that present or fund emergency providers has decided how the funds will likely be distributed. Precedence will likely be given to emergency shelter services, meals pantries, and those who present important provides.
