ANNAPOLIS, Maryland (AP) – The state of Maryland is allocating $ 30 million in emergency support for music and leisure venues, Governor Larry Hogan introduced Friday.
The help is for locations which were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s a part of greater than $ 700 million in emergency monetary help offered by the state.
The aid has been reserved for greater than 90 independently owned music and stay venues, leisure promoters and native cinemas, whose operations have been affected.
The administration says the aid will assist protect greater than 800 jobs.
