LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – A cashier was shot throughout a theft at Shorty’s Meals Mart on Friday night time as they tried to provide the thief money, the Louisville Metro Police Division mentioned.
A person walked into the meals market close to Broadway and 18th Road, displayed a gun and demanded money simply earlier than 7:15 p.m., LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell mentioned.
Because the cashier pulled out the cash, Mitchell mentioned the suspect fired his gun, capturing the cashier within the arm.
The cashier, whose age and gender had been unknown, was taken to the College of Louisville Hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening accidents.
LMPD’s theft unit is investigating the theft.
