Howard College has renamed its Faculty of Wonderful Arts to honor the late Chadwick Boseman.
The ‘Black Panther’ star graduated from personal college in Washington DC in 2000 with a BA in Directing, and after his tragic passing final 12 months following a silent battle with colon most cancers, the school board has determined to nominate to all its members. Faculty of Arts after him.
Based on the Washington Publish, the title change comes as Howard and Walt Disney Co. CEO Bob Iger joined forces to spearhead a fundraising marketing campaign for a scholarship named after Chadwick, along with serving to elevate funds for the development of a state-of-the-art constructing on campus.
The brand new constructing will home the newly named Chadwick A. Boseman Faculty of Wonderful Arts, in addition to the Cathy Hughes Faculty of Communications, its tv station and its radio station.
