Members of the Rotary Membership of Southwest Eureka lately joined the Outdated City Rotary Membership, Rotary Membership of Eureka, and Humboldt Bay Soroptimist members as they chose and packed baggage of meals for the Meals for Folks Kids’s Backpacks program. The sacks of meals have been handed out to elementary college college students who would possibly in any other case have gone hungry over the weekend. Southwest Eureka Rotary has participated in this system since 2008, offering funding and weekly hands-on participation within the collaborative effort. Over 100 baggage of meals are supplied to youngsters every week as a part of the membership’s decades-long, ongoing dedication to youngsters, college students, well being, and starvation aid.
