COOPERSTOWN — Artwork Storage’s first summer time present of the season, “The Colours of Inexperienced” will open with a reception from four to six pm on Saturday, June 11, at 689 Beaver Meadow Highway in Cooperstown. The present will run till July 9.
In keeping with a press launch, the present options massive work by Robert Sowers depicting summer time figures stress-free and having fun with the solar and inexperienced fields.
Sowers, who died in 1990, based mostly his works on images he took in elements of Manhattan and Brooklyn within the 1980s.
Ceramic works that share hints of inexperienced by a gaggle of native and space artists may also be a part of the present together with rural drawings by the late Lavern Kelly.
Potters embrace Chris Pettingill and his spouse, Peggi Sue Peters, Michael Jones with Gary Bower, Marcie Schwartzman, and Linda Suskind.
The Artwork Storage is open from 11 am to three pm most Saturdays and midday to three pm on Sundays.
