Actor Dakota Fanning will reunite with Hollywood veteran Denzel Washington for the third a part of The Equalizer franchise. Sources advised Deadline that Fanning, who beforehand labored with Washington on the 2004 hit Man on Fireplace, has joined the forged of the third installment.
Filmmaker Antoine Fuqua, who directed the primary two movies, returns for the third movie with Washington reprising his function as Robert McCall. The Equalizer, which launched in 2014, adopted McCall, a former US Marine turned CIA intelligence officer who reluctantly returns to motion to guard a teenage prostitute from members of the Russian mob.
It was adopted by a 2018 sequel, titled The Equalizer 2, which noticed McCall from Washington return to avenge the homicide of his shut pal.
The third movie will probably be written by Richard Wenk and will probably be launched theatrically within the US on September 1, 2023. Escape Artists Academy Award nominee Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch and Washington are producing the Undertaking.
