FRANKFURT, June 11 (Reuters) – German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will journey to Kyiv together with his French and Italian counterparts forward of the Group of Seven summit in late June, German newspaper Bild am Sonntag reported on Saturday.
He cited French and Ukrainian authorities sources.
A German authorities spokesman advised Reuters: “We can not verify this.” Requested by Reuters, the Elysee Palace refused to verify the knowledge. The Italian authorities didn’t instantly reply to requests for remark.

Not one of the three leaders has been to Kyiv since Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine in February.
French President Emmanuel Macron has tried to carry a dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin because the warfare started.
His stance has been criticized by some Japanese and Baltic European companions as they see it as undermining efforts to push Putin to the negotiating desk. learn extra
