POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) – A Pocatello man is in jail and going through assault expenses after beginning a battle at a restaurant Wednesday night time.
Darion Tyron Vinson Jr. is charged with assault and tried felony and malicious battery.
He’s being held within the Bannock County Jail on $75,000 bond.
Surveillance video on the Mandarin Home restaurant reveals the suspect coming into the restaurant and pushing an worker to the bottom. He then walks over, grabs the worker and punches him. The supervisor can push the attacker.
The suspect then tries to seize a woman on the opposite aspect of the restaurant. Seconds later, the suspect grabs a chair and throws it throughout the room. He shortly offers up when a police officer arrives moments later.
The supervisor tells us the battle began when the worker noticed the person arguing with a girl exterior the restaurant within the parking zone. She instructed the suspect that she was going to name 9-1-1 if she did not cease. That is when the suspect adopted him to the restaurant.
Supervisor Kevin Cao says that when conditions like that occur, you simply react. “Many individuals want, behind their minds, to consider the right way to shield themselves when issues occur,” Cao stated. “We do not know what we’ll do when issues like this occur. You have to discover a strategy to shield your self.”
The incident started round eight:30 pm on Wednesday.
Nobody was critically injured.
