The Kern County World Conflict II Veterans Memorial Committee is internet hosting a night USO present, “Honoring Our Biggest Technology,” at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 23 at Stars Theatre, 1931 Chester Ave. in Bakersfield.
Present-only tickets are $50, and dinner and present tickets are $150. Proceeds will go towards the development of Kern County’s first World Conflict II memorial at Jastro Park.
