Jill Leslie Thompson, 56, of East Waterford, handed away within the arms of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Geisinger Medical Heart, Danville.
Born April 15, 1966 in Lewistown, she is the daughter of Betty (Peck) Thompson of East Waterford and the late Jack R. Thompson.
Along with her mom, she is survived by her sister, Jacqueline Leister and husband Michael, niece Jessica (Rice) Lee and husband Stanley, niece Jennifer Piper and husband Jason, great-nieces and nephew Josie Rice, Julia Rice, Olivia Piper and Connor. Piper, in addition to her fiance of a few years, Carl Hosler of East Waterford. Along with her father, Jill was preceded in loss of life by an toddler sister.
Jill graduated from Juniata Excessive College in 1984. She was a former EMT with East Waterford Ambulance, a member of Lack-Tuscarora EMS and Religion United Methodist Church.
Jill loved cooking, vegetable gardening, flea and yard gross sales, campfires and mountain pies throughout summer season and Christmas. Her true enjoyment got here from spending time together with her household and mates.
He had an unwavering religion in God, immeasurable energy, an infectious smile and the happiest chortle. Jill beloved life and located the best pleasure within the easiest issues. Visitation will probably be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022, starting at 10:00 a.m. and will probably be adopted by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Lack-Tuscarora EMS, 9320 Route 75 S, East Waterford, with Pastor Graham Fowler officiating. Burial will comply with in East Waterford Cemetery.
