JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Mississippi State Division of Well being (MSDH) will maintain a digital press convention to satisfy and greet the brand new State Well being Officer, Dr. Dan Edney.
In response to the company, Edney will talk about his priorities and upcoming agenda to serve and shield the well being of all Mississippians.
He initially joined MSDH as medical director and regional well being officer for the Central Public Well being Area in February 2021.
Edney changed State Well being Officer Dr. Thomas Dobbs, who resigned from his place on the finish of July.
