India will stage a MotoGP race on the Buddh Worldwide Circuit in New Delhi from 2023, organizers introduced on Friday.
Industrial rights holders Dorna Sports activities mentioned earlier this month they have been in talks with the Uttar Pradesh state authorities and India’s sports activities ministry.
“We’ve got a number of followers in India and we’re excited to have the ability to deliver the game to them,” Dorna Sports activities CEO Carmelo Ezpeleta mentioned in an announcement.

The announcement comes after MotoGP earlier this week mentioned it had agreed a five-year deal to stage races at Kazakhstan’s Sokol Worldwide Racetrack from 2023.
The 2023 MotoGP season will start with a race at Portugal’s Algarve Worldwide Circuit in Portimao on March 24-26.
