DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A Dayton nonprofit that helps convey skilled workwear to these in want plans to hit the street this summer time.
Garments That Work has been offering skilled clothes, picture counseling, and coaching for job seekers in Montgomery County since 1998.
Clothes donations go to folks trying to enter the workforce to ensure they’ve the correct clothes.
Now, the group plans to make use of a cellular unit that might be touring throughout the week to increase their mission to extra folks in want.
“Our aim is that, in our first yr of operation, we’ll serve 500 clients in our pilot yr whereas fixing all the problems and bettering this system on how we will serve our clients,” Melanie Troxell, cellular outreach mission supervisor, mentioned.
The group hopes to have the cellular program prepared by mid-June.
