Members of Kebort's Karate Tigers lately obtained prime honors on the 51st Annual Pennsylvania Karate Championships in New Kensington. From left are Sensei-dai Malahki Schroder, who positioned fifth in Blackbelt Males (18-34) Kumite, 10th in Males's (18-34) Blackbelt Conventional Kata and seventh in Blackbelt Males (18-34) Weapons for the 2024 season; Hanshi Christina Kebort, who positioned first in Girls's Grasp Blackbelt Kata and Girls's Grasp Senior Kumite (Combating), incomes her the title of State Champion in these divisions for the 2024 season and second in Girls's Grasp Blackbelt Weapons for 2024 ; and David Grey Jr., who positioned first in Males's Newbie Kata (18-34) and Males's Superior Kata (18-34) to earn the title of 2024 State Champion in these divisions for the 2024 season. Additionally Grey positioned second in Males's Superior Kumite (18-34) for 2024. On the match, Hanshi Kebort positioned second in Girls's Grasp Weapons, third in Girls's Grasp Kata and first in Senior Girls's Blackbelt Kumite; Grey was fourth in Superior Males's Kumite (18-34); and Sensei-dai Schroder was fourth in (18-34) Grownup Male Heavyweight Sparring. Not pictured is Devion Mosher, who positioned fifth in (11-12) Novice Kata and third in (11-12) Males's Novice Kumite for the 2024 season. He was a finalist on the match.
