Anita Pointer of the Pointer Sisters dies at 74
Anita Pointer, one of many Grammy-winning Pointer Sisters whose string of pop, nation and R&B hits within the 1970s and ’80s included “I am So Excited,” “Leap (For My Love)” and “Hearth,” has died from most cancers on Saturday at age 74, his publicist stated. Pointer was surrounded by household at her Beverly Hills house when she died, publicist Roger Neal stated.
