Evaluating himself and Pathaan’s co-actors Deepika Padukone and John Abraham to “Amar, Akbar, Anthony”, the characters in Manmohan Desai’s 1977 hit, actor Shah Rukh Khan stated on Monday that, as artists, their purpose is to unfold “love and brotherhood”. “That is Deepika, she is Amar, I’m Shah Rukh Khan, I’m Akbar and John that is Anthony… We’re ‘Amar, Akbar, Anthony’. And that is what makes cinema… There aren’t any variations that any of us have with any tradition. We’re hungry for the love of the viewers. All these crores should not necessary… The love we obtain… nothing is greater than that,” stated the actor.
The ‘Pathaan staff’ spoke at an occasion hosted by manufacturing firm Yash Raj Movies in Mumbai on Monday.
Shah Rukh stated that for artists, cinema is a way to entertain and unify the nation with out hurting any emotions.
“To be trustworthy, after we make motion pictures, whether or not it is north, south, east or west, our purpose is to unfold happiness, brotherhood, love, kindness… Even once I play a foul man in ‘Darr’ or John it is dangerous on this film… We’re simply enjoying characters. None of that is meant to harm any emotions. It is simply leisure.
Shah Rukh stated that the overwhelming love he has for “Pathaan” has greater than made up for his time away from cinema. “The 4 years that I had… Covid had good and dangerous components. I didn’t work I used to be with my youngsters I noticed them develop, ”he stated.
