METERAny new restaurant participates in Inlander Restaurant Week. yearly and in 2024 Lumberbeard Brewing is one in all them, after opening its kitchen final October.
For Restaurant Week, Lumberbeard (25 E. Third Ave.) outfitted its $35 three-course menu with pub classics to accompany its lineup of craft beers.
To start out, we ask for the pretzel bites, which include creamy jalapeño beer cheese and spicy stone-ground beer mustard sauce. The little bites had a salty, crunchy exterior that lined the gentle pretzel inside.
Moreover, we order the Mediterranean salad in wedges, which was filled with taste due to the feta cheese dressing and contemporary cucumber, Greek olives, onions, and oven-dried tomatoes. The iceberg lettuce was crisp and added a pleasant layer of texture to the primary dish.
For the second dish I ordered the Macaroni with glazed pork stomach and beer cheese – minus the pork stomach to be vegetarian. It was a basic, creamy mac and cheese, and the candied jalapenos on high created a barely candy and spicy chunk that introduced out the flavors of the cheese and beer. My buddy, in the meantime, ordered the hen wings with pickles, served with a creamy dill sauce. The crispiness of the wings was enhanced by a mattress of house fries beneath.
To complete the meal, we ordered the 2 desserts from Lumberbeard Brewing's menu (the third possibility is an Eight-ounce shot of any beer on faucet), the primary being the Campfire Snack Chocolate Mousse. With a mallow cream beneath the mousse made with their Campfire Snack imperial stout, the dish was topped with chocolate sauce and graham cracker crumbs, making a wealthy and decadent twist on the basic s'extra.
lumberjack beard Maple Cinnamon Bread Pudding It had a balanced sweetness and easy texture. It's brewed with the brewery's barrel-aged Maple Goodness beer, which provides a deep maple taste to the dish, topped with spiced whipped cream, a drizzle of maple caramel, and honey granules.
Lumberbeard Brewing serves its Restaurant Week menu on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from three to eight pm and Friday and Saturday from three to 9 pm by way of Saturday, March 2. ♦
