St. Aloysius Interfaith Meals Pantry in Nice Neck wants donations for its fruit and vegetable program.
“The primary concern is that we have now to ensure we have now recent fruit and veggies obtainable to native households,” says Allan Lowenkron of Temple Beth-El in Nice Neck.
Final 12 months, the pantry misplaced a $10,000 grant for its produce program.
“I hope we get the funding to proceed doing this,” says Bertha Del Carpio, who works as lead coordinator at St. Aloysius Interfaith Meals Pantry.
The Lengthy Island Pantry serves about 100 households in Nice Neck and surrounding communities.
