Hummus recalled in Canada over yeast contamination

Groupe Manufacturier Metro Inc. is recalling Adonis model Basic Hummus attributable to microbial contamination, particularly yeast.

In keeping with the Canadian Meals Inspection Company, the recalled merchandise had been distributed within the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec.

Retailers and shoppers shouldn’t use, promote, serve or distribute the affected merchandise.
