Musician Brendan McAlinden will play a number of percussion devices and a gong to accompany Nirmal Raja's exhibition, “PAUSE,” on Thursday, April 25 at 7:30 pm at Border, 2334 W. 111th Pl. In these works, Raja displays : “I requested myself this query: if I needed to create my very own visible instruments for meditation, what would they be? How can I exploit creation to synchronize thoughts, physique and motion? Raja mentioned “PAUSE” is a group of some current drawings impressed by the e-book “#tantrasong” by Franck Andre Jamme, which accommodates minimalist drawings made by northwestern Indian mystics as instruments for meditation.
