China is concentrating on residents finding out overseas for his or her political activism, rights group Amnesty Worldwide stated on Monday, with some college students reporting harassment of members of the family again dwelling.
Beijing doesn’t tolerate political dissent and has used subtle technological instruments and intimidation to crack down on home protesters and activists.
And its curbs on political activism are more and more being prolonged overseas within the type of “transnational repression,” Amnesty Worldwide stated in a report, citing interviews with dozens of scholars in eight European and North American international locations.
