WELLESLEY, MASS. (WHDH) – Governor Maura Healey on Wednesday introduced new funding for a scholar psychological well being program aimed toward serving to college students who’ve fallen behind attributable to psychological well being points.
Dubbed the Bridge for Resilient Youth in Transition program, this system has traditionally “solely been obtainable to districts with the monetary sources to implement it,” in accordance with an announcement from the Healey-Driscoll administration.
The brand new $13 million funding introduced Wednesday will purpose to develop efforts by including new Bridge for Resilient Youth in Transition packages at greater than 30 high-need colleges throughout the state, officers stated.
