From noisy pugs to a meticulously groomed poodle to a fortunately excited Shiba Inu, Misato Sano's bouncy puppies emerge from distinctive blocks of wooden. The artist (beforehand) chisels expectant eyes and crazed grins, revealing particular person personalities that characteristic every race's distinctive look and perspective.
Misato sees our canine companions as mirrors of our personal personalities and started making these sculptures as reflections of her personal ideas and feelings, from pleasure to fret to longing. Every portrait channels the myriad methods canines could be free and open of their expressions of devotion, ardour and play.
