The Sacramento Bee featured The Rind proprietor Sara Arbabian at its second Information & Nosh occasion hosted by meals author Benjy Egel.
Tuesday evening's gathering consisted of 4 dishes from Arbabian Restaurant, together with “Not Your Mother's Mac.” To show it, we'll let you know what was in it: five-year-old white cheddar, Gruyere, and two-year-old Parmigiano-Reggiano. Not a blue-and-yellow sq. in sight.
The dishes have been paired with wines from El Dorado eight, a collective comprising Boeger Vineyard, Edio at Delfino Farms, Ingredient 79 Vineyards, Gwinllan Property, Lava Cap Vineyard, Madroña Vineyards, Miraflores Vineyards & Vineyard and Starfield Vineyards.
The query and reply portion of the night included a dialog between Arbabian and Egel. They talked in regards to the restaurant enterprise, Arbabian's method to his work and Egel's cookbook “Sacramento Eats: Recipes from the Capital Area's Favourite Eating places,” which featured Arbabian's macaroni and cheese recipe.
