The Alcona Excessive College cross nation group participated within the Northern Michigan Meet of Champions Saturday morning, and the climate was excellent for working. Cole Higher completed with a time of 18:12, putting 61st out of 239 runners, whereas Darren Boyat clocked a season's better of 18:47, ending 86th.
This week, the group will give attention to getting ready for the Regionals, which will likely be held in East Jordan on Saturday.
ALCONA soccer BEAT ROGERS CITY 73-6
Alcona Excessive College beat Rogers Metropolis Excessive College 73-6 on Friday.
The primary quarter noticed the Tigers rating 4 TDs: Garrett Somers to William Liebler for the primary, Evan Woods for the second, Brandon Fogle for the third, Somers to Liebler for the fourth and Somers on a 22-yard run.

Within the second quarter, the Tigers added 5 extra TDs. The primary was Travis Walker with a one-yard catch. Then Ricky Schott on a 22-yard TD catch, adopted by Karsen Gonyea on a 29-yard TD catch.
The scoring was capped off by Somers to Evan Borsvold and Ricky Schott working in from three yards out.
The Tigers' protection was additionally on the prowl, led by Keegan Ritchie, who had 11 tackles. The protection created seven scores en path to the Homecoming victory.
