Throughout London Artwork Week 2024, Italian furnishings model Century and positive jewellery model EERA have come collectively to unveil a surprising restricted version capsule assortment, Through Chrome Reflections. The collaboration, which blurs the strains between furnishings and jewelry-inspired aesthetics, attracted curious passers-by who noticed this surprising fusion of design.
By the distinct lens of EÉRA, based by Chiara Capitani and Romy Blanga, the gathering reimagines three of Secolo's iconic items: the Sibylia armchair, Laghi espresso tables and Laghi mirrors. Drawing inspiration from the surreal and inflated works of Erwin Wurm and the futuristic visions of Hajime Sorayama, EÉRA has breathed new life into these timeless designs. Daring, geometric strains and utilitarian hardware add an avant-garde look, whereas playful proportions and a brand new chrome end give the items a futuristic look that embodies a distorted class.
Each bit – whether or not it's the puffy curves of the Sibylia Armchair, the reflective surfaces of the Laghi Mirrors, or the sculptural silhouettes of the Laghi Espresso Tables – captures the essence of each manufacturers.
