Lecturer Dr. José Ciro Martínez has been awarded a prestigious analysis award by the Leverhulme Belief for his work in comparative politics and political anthropology of the Center East.
The Belief's Philip Leverhulme Awards program commemorates the contribution to the work of the Belief by Philip, the third Viscount Leverhulme and grandson of William Lever, the Belief's founder. The Belief awards simply 30 of those prizes every year, every value £100,000. The fund could also be used for any function that advances the awardee's analysis.
José will use the funding to proceed his analysis on his second guide, tentatively titled “ Sovereign Haze: Cannabis, Commerce and Illegals within the Western Mediterranean. The undertaking examines governance practices and the train of authority in southern Spain and northern Morocco by way of the manufacturing and commerce of cannabis.
