Tan France Launches Furniture Collection with Castlery
Tan France has collaborated with Singapore-based furniture brand Castlery to launch his first furniture collection, featuring 18 pieces that include seating, dining, lighting, rugs, décor, and accessories. The collection reflects France’s philosophy of thoughtful layering, drawing from his British and South Asian heritage.
France states, “I honestly don’t see a huge difference between these two creative spaces,” emphasizing the importance of classic designs with playful elements. The collection took 15 months to develop, showcasing craftsmanship and cultural references.
Highlights include the handblown Anika Table Lamp, the modular Kagan Sofa, and the Anaya Tea Table, all inspired by France’s upbringing and cultural experiences. France notes that homeowners today are more open to creating personalized spaces influenced by social media.
