Topped by a succession of 4 roofs, Casa Ondas is in the midst of a small terrace within the mountains of Playa Tamarindo in Costa Rica. Embracing scenic ocean views, keep was conceptualized by LSD Architects as an elongated construction that enhances pure cross air flow, with two important volumes separated by an open however coated terrace. The social areas are divided from the non-public ones and the home unfolds on a number of ranges to optimize the terrace plan and the sloping land. The structure, with natural geometries and earth tones, engages in a synchronous dialogue with its pure surroundings.

With the intention of accelerating the interplay between indoor and out of doors area, LSD Architects (see extra Right here) shapes the curved silhouette of Casa Ondas with undulating parabolic roof traces intersecting the mountain. 4 impartial and distinctly formed roofs overlap the social and personal areas, unifying this system. Metal columns help the roofs with just a few decrease partitions, creating a big opening that brings an abundance of pure lighting between the roof, whereas picturesque views of the tropics filter by the elevation.
