Mountlake Terrace beat Stanwood 2-1
Claire August scored twice because the eleventh-seeded Mountlake Terrace Hawks stored their season alive and superior to the 3A District 1 quarterfinals with a 2-1 win over the Stanwood Spartans, the sixth seed, in a loser/District recreation.
The Hawks will tackle the third-seeded Monroe Bearcats at Monroe Excessive College on Saturday, Nov. 2 at four p.m. The remaining eight groups will play a double-elimination event, with 4 of the eight groups advancing to the state event starting Tuesday, Nov. 12.

Kylee Mitchell recorded the shutout for the Scots, who will play the fourth-seeded Oak Harbor Wildcats on Saturday within the opening spherical of the double-elimination district event. The Mavericks' season ends with a 7-10 general report.

Tatum Smith scored the sport's solely objective on a cross from Sienna Kuehn because the 10th-seeded Everett Seagulls upset the seventh-seeded Edmonds-Woodway Warriors at Edmonds Stadium.
The Seagulls improved to 7-9-1 general on the season and superior to the double-elimination District event the place they are going to face second-seeded Shorewood at 5:30 p.m., Saturday evening at Shoreline Stadium. The Warriors' season ends with an general report of 11-6.
