Hector Serrano transforms the storm washed wooden into practical objects
Following Dana October 2024, a chilly drop that deeply affected Spanish Areas, Héctor Serrano Studio reinstate 85 roots collected from the seashores of southern Valencia in vases, combining artwork with environmental and social impression. Each bit corresponds to a municipality affected by the storm, contributing to the fundraising efforts for regional reconstruction and CERAI assist, a company targeted on sustainable rural growth. The roots, or raids, flip the branches of the timber in workplace sculptural objects.

Roots venture merges artwork with environmental impression and social
The storm left the southern coast Valencia coated with bare timber, trunks, roots, reeds and crops, formed by the power of water. A few of these pure fragments offered distinctive kinds, modeled by erosion and motion. Designer Héctor Serrano chosen and remodeled 85 of those roots into vases, designed to carry crops or cuttings meant for the next transplant. The venture serves as a symbolic restoration effort, aligning with the purpose of elevating funds for reconstruction and agricultural restoration.
