Texas Rangers examine those that helped convicted assassin Matthew Edgar

Sabine County Sheriff Tom Maddox says the Texas Rangers stepped in and spearheaded the investigation into who was harboring and aiding convicted assassin Matthew Hoy Edgar whereas he was on the run for the previous 12 months.
Edgar was not too long ago captured and is now incarcerated on the Byrd Unit in Huntsville.
Halfway by his January 2022 trial for the homicide of 19-year-old Livye Lewis on October 31, 2020, Edgar and his relations failed to look on the Sabine County courthouse. The trial continued with out him current and he was discovered responsible of the crime and sentenced to 99 years in jail.
