LOS ANGELES (AP) – Donna Summer season's property sued Ye and Ty Dolla $ign on Tuesday for what their attorneys say is the “blatantly” unlawful use of her 1977 track “I Really feel Love” of their collaboration “Good ( Don't Die.”
The copyright infringement lawsuit was filed in federal court docket in Los Angeles by Summer season's husband, Bruce Sudano, in his capability as executor of the property of the singer-songwriter and “Disco Queen,” who died in 2012.
The lawsuit alleges that when representatives for Ye, previously Kanye West, requested permission to make use of the track, they have been turned down as a result of Summer season's property “didn’t need affiliation with West's controversial story.”
The lawsuit contends that the album as an alternative “blatantly” included re-recorded parts of the track that have been “immediately recognizable.”
“Within the face of this rejection,” the lawsuit says, “defendants arrogantly and unilaterally determined that they’d merely steal 'I Really feel Love' and use it with out permission.”
An e-mail looking for remark from Ye's representatives was not instantly returned.

He’s looking for an injunction stopping any additional circulation of the track and financial damages to be decided at trial.
The track doesn’t at the moment seem on the model of the album accessible on Spotify and different streaming providers.
