RICHMOND, Ky. — Jap Kentucky's Maddi Rutan earned a flurry of ASUN Convention honors Monday afternoon.
Rutan, a freshman from Columbus North, was named ASUN Pitcher of the 12 months and Freshman of the 12 months. She was additionally named first group All-ASUN and made the Tutorial All-SUN group.
Rutan went 23-Four with a 1.93 ERA and 144 strikeouts. She went 12-1 with a 1.63 ERA and 81 strikeouts in convention play.
