ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. – Roanoke County college leaders are permitting some college students to return to taking part in sports activities.
The choice is made after a Four-1 vote Tuesday afternoon throughout a Roanoke County College Board enterprise session.
The board acknowledged that sports activities are essential to many households and they’re attempting to make the perfect of what they’ve.
Voting permits school sports activities to compete with different county faculties and follow starting Wednesday.
This announcement is sweet information for the few dozen college students and fogeys who gathered within the division workplace early Tuesday.
They wished college leaders to see that that is essential to them.
“With the ability to go to high school after which play sports activities proper after is unquestionably one thing I’ve grown up needing. Simply because it provides everybody a way of household, assist and safety, and never having the ability to do this has affected my life and the lives of others, ”mentioned Claire Lucas, a senior at Glenvar Excessive College.
College students and their dad and mom will not be alone.
