Mrs. Sylvia C. Van Buren, 77, of Gloversville handed away on Saturday, Could eight, 2021 at Mountain Valley Hospice Home in Gloversville.
She was born on March 14, 1944 in Mayfield, the daughter of the late Frederick Louis Thomas and Beulah (Lindsley) Frederick. Sylvia labored at Winig Slipper, Wooden and Hyde Leather-based, and Tic-Tac-Toes Mfg. As well as, she had a beautician license and did many “First haircuts” Via the years. She loved doing a wide range of arts and crafts, studying, and liked phrase search. She all the time put household first and was an avid Elvis fan.
Sylvia is survived by her 4 daughters, Patricia Cozzolino (Ron) of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Jacquelyn Hardman of Tennessee, Aneita Amos and Bridget Van Buren, each of Gloversville; sister, Shirley Travis (Ron) from Utah; his six grandchildren, Derek Cozzolino, Adam Cozzolino, Stephanie Amos, Paula Coleman, Bret Coleman and Jordan Amos; together with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and members of the prolonged household.
Along with her two mother and father, Sylvia handed away earlier than her husband, Paul Van Buren in 2015; his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Elbert Frederick (Sandra), Milford Frederick (Dorothy); and his nephew, Ricky Frederick.
