RespectAbility, the nonprofit group that seeks to fight stigmas of individuals with disabilities, introduced the contributors of its third annual Lab for Leisure Professionals with Disabilities.
The lab, now in its fourth yr, goals to develop younger folks with disabilities, connecting them with executives and creatives working in movie, tv and broadcast. Lab alumni presently work at Disney, Netflix, Nickelodeon, Paramount Footage, Showtime, and extra.
After two years of digital labs, the six-week program returns with face-to-face and digital editions, the latter for individuals who discover the face-to-face choice inaccessible. Contributors embody folks with bodily, cognitive, sensory, psychological well being and different disabilities.
