
Glenn “G” R. George Jr., 67, of Mechanicstown, died at his residence on Wednesday, August 10, 2022. The son of the late Glenn and Ruth (Morgan) George Sr., he was born on Might four, 1955 in Mechanicstown, Ohio .
Instantly after graduating highschool, Glenn started driving a truck for Summitville Tiles for greater than 40 years, retiring. Throughout this time, Glenn was additionally a volunteer firefighter for the Fox Township VFD for over 30 years, retiring as Hearth Chief. Amongst Glenn’s many awards was in 1990 when he was offered with a plaque by the Ohio Home of Representatives for heroism for pulling a lady out of a second-floor hearth. Funeral providers will likely be held Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at midday at Dodds Funeral House in Carrollton with Pastor Dick Walters officiating.
