
UPDATE 5:15 pm: US Freeway 40 has reopened in each instructions.
A tractor-trailer overturn on US Freeway 40, simply east of Hayden, has a part of the freeway closed with visitors alternating in each instructions as crews work to get the car off the highway.
The accident is within the westbound lane close to the intersection with Routt County Highway 52, in accordance with a Colorado Division of Transportation alert posted at 1:14 p.m. Monday, August 1.
The Routt County dispatch mentioned visitors alternates with an open eastbound journey for 10 minutes, then westbound for 10 minutes.
Routt County Deputy Chief Doug Sherar mentioned the Colorado State Patrol was in control of the scene and the West Routt Hearth Safety District is helping with visitors.
The driving force’s accidents will not be believed to be critical, Scherar mentioned.
“I used to be hauling a load of pipe or one thing, and there was pipe all around the highway,” Scherar mentioned.
