Twelve Arkansas eating places are finalists for Arkansas Heritage’s 2023 Arkansas Meals Corridor of Fame.
The Arkansas State Division of Parks, Heritage and Tourism introduced the listing Monday:
Betty’s previous trend, El Dorado; Nice Banjo’s Pizza, Pine Bluff; Black Angus, Little Rock; Bulldog restaurant, bald goatee; Queen Daisy, Marshall; DeVito’s Restaurant, Harrison; Hugo’s, Fayetteville; Kream Citadel, Blytheville; Meacham’s Household Restaurant, Ash Flat; Ozark Cafe, Jasper; Skyline Cafe, Mena; and the Ohio Membership, Sizzling Springs.
The Corridor of Fame, based in 2016, acknowledges “legendary Arkansas eating places, house owners and food-themed occasions throughout the state,” in line with a information launch.
Finalists for “Proprietor of the 12 months” honors are Chuck Taylor, Taylor’s Steakhouse, Dumas; Chester and Laura Huntsman, Beech Road Bistro, Crossett; David Stobaugh, Stoby’s Restaurant, Conway; James Woods, Woods Place, Camden; Jamie McAfee, Pine Bluff Nation Membership, Pine Bluff; and Jim Keet, JTJ Eating places, Little Rock.
Finalists for “Meals Theme Occasion”: Knights of Columbus Slovak Oyster Dinner in Slovak; the Magnolia Flower Competition and the World Steak Cooking Championships in Magnolia; and the Mayhaw Competition in El Dorado.

The Meals Corridor of Fame Committee reviewed greater than 1,800 submissions in 5 classes (additionally together with Folks’s Selection) from all 75 Arkansas counties throughout October.
