Helen L. Yoder, 81, of Valley View Haven, Belleville, handed away at 1:40 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2023, at Haven.
She was born March 19, 1941 in Belleville, daughter of the late Harvey and Anna (Hartzler) Peachey. On June four, 1960, she married her husband of 62 years, Floyd J. Yoder, who survives at her house.
Additionally surviving are: her kids, Terrence Yoder and spouse, Kendra, of State Faculty, and Austin Yoder and spouse, Jodi, of Austin, TX, and Angela Neer and husband, Paul, of Belleville, one sister, Jane Diffenderfer of Lititz, and 6 grandchildren, Caleb Yoder, Hayden Yoder, Silas Neer, Jacob Neer, Madison Yoder and Sierra Yoder.
She was preceded in demise by her siblings, James Peachey, Solomon Peachey, Harvey Peachey, Loren Peachey, Lois Yoder, Patricia Zook and Joanne Kauffman.
Helen graduated from Belleville Mennonite Faculty. She spent a few years as a homemaker, then volunteered at Huge Valley Thrift and Present, the place she loved serving as supervisor and assistant supervisor from 1992-1996 and 2001-2003.
Helen was a beautiful spouse, mom, grandmother and homemaker. She targeted on making a loving house for her rapid and prolonged household.
She beloved entertaining household and buddies at house and at all times ready a fun-filled gathering together with her particular loving touches. Her best pleasure was spending time together with her household and grandchildren.
A member of Maple Grove Mennonite Church, Helen loved group fellowship, music (particularly when carried out by her husband, Floyd) and taking part within the choir. She additionally loved touring and biking together with her husband. If not surrounded by household, she would usually be discovered listening to lovely music or studying inspirational books and scriptures. She was well-known for her unconditional love, kindness, selflessness and generosity to all.

A celebration of life service will likely be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Maple Grove Mennonite Church, with Pastor Alan Kauffman officiating. Interment will likely be non-public and on the comfort of the household at Locust Grove Cemetery.
Her household will obtain buddies from 6-8pm on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Maple Grove Mennonite Church.
