BUILDING A hybrid construction of interconnected items
Materializing his distinctive method, Karim Nader (see extra Right here) composed the “Glass Home” with out utilizing concrete. As an alternative, he mixed a minimal uncovered metal construction with pure stone masonry to create a wierd hybrid that stacks three small pavilions atop a skinny glass slab with a cantilevered ceiling.
Program-wise, the bottom flooring plan revolves round a central “high-tech” open front room and bar flanked by two reflecting swimming pools, a hearth on one facet, and an open kitchen and eating space on alternatively. A system of minimal aluminum studs extensively blurs the boundary of the home, whereas the picket cover gives the required heat and shading. Above, three sloping volumes maintain kids’s bedrooms and a main bedroom overlooking the Chouf space.
