Appatha, a Tamil movie directed by director Priyadarshan, has been chosen because the opening movie of the Shanghai Cooperation Group Movie Competition. Starring Urvashi, the upcoming movie is billed as “a lovely story of an unlikely bond” that sows the values of respecting your dad and mom and discovering your self.
In keeping with a press launch issued on Wednesday, the screening of Appatha might be held in Mumbai on January 27 on the Movies Division Advanced.
Priyadarshan stated the crew is “honored” that its director Appatha has been chosen because the pageant’s opening movie.
“I wish to thank my producers Jio Studios and Broad Angle Creations for bringing me this charming and easy story. It has been a pleasure to collaborate on this movie and great to work with such an outstanding expertise as Urvashi in his 700th movie.
“Appatha is in contrast to something I’ve tried earlier than and I am trying ahead to seeing how audiences react,” the acclaimed filmmaker stated in an announcement.
Appatha is written by Hardik Gajjar with a script by Priyadarshan and Deepthi Govindarajan.
The Shanghai Cooperation Group Movie Competition is organized by the Ministry of Data and Broadcasting, Authorities of India by the Nationwide Movie Improvement Company in affiliation with the SCO Council of Heads of State.
The film extravaganza will come to an finish on January 31st.
