The Oregon State College Extension Service has a Meals Preservers Grasp Workshop going down on Saturday, February 17 from 12:30 pm to four:30 pm at Pine Grove Church on Buckhorn Highway.
“Canicopia: steam and stress canning” is the subject. Grasp Meals Preservers will information contributors in protected practices as they obtain hands-on coaching in stress canning hen and steam canning candy and bitter pickled cauliflower. Attendees will get pleasure from samples and depart with an informational brochure and their full items.
Strain canner gauges must be examined yearly. Neighborhood members are invited to deliver their stress canner lids to the workshop, so meals preservers can guarantee they’re correct and protected.
