The Los Angeles Public Faculty System is among the few administrations within the US that also supplies instruments without spending a dime to its college students. Tens of hundreds of younger musicians study to play the saxophone or tuba with loaned gear, a program that has been operating since 1959 that gives higher and extra equitable entry to the humanities.
