On view till March 14, the exhibition, curated by Ivan Sayers, honorary curator of GCOS and curator emeritus of the Museum of Vancouver, presents a journey by the evolution of this timeless garment from the 1950s to the 1960s.
The exhibition options twelve couture and ready-to-wear items from designers together with Dior, Oscar De La Renta, Elizabeth Arden, The Home of Value and extra. Notable items embody a gown signed by Oscar De La Renta throughout his go to to the Hudson's Bay Vancouver retailer within the 1990s.
