7 Brew's Canned Offerings Bring Drive-Thru Energy to Walmart Shelves

By Editor • August 27, 2026 • 2 min read

The bustling atmosphere of 7 Brew, famous for its lively drive-thru experience, is now available in a more subdued form. Known for energizing its customers with a dynamic vibe and upbeat music, the chain has launched a range of canned coffees and energy drinks, providing caffeine aficionados a way to enjoy their favorites without the hustle and bustle.

As of August 2026, shoppers can find three varieties of 7 Brew canned coffee at over 4,000 Walmart locations across the United States, each priced at $2.98. Additionally, five types of energy drinks are available for $2.48 each, though they are still rolling out to selected locations. This launch marks a significant expansion for the brand, allowing fans to experience their beloved beverages from the comfort of home.

To put these drinks to the test, I sampled each can after chilling them overnight. The tasting process involved pouring each beverage into a glass to assess its color and carbonation, while intentionally avoiding ice in the coffees to maintain their flavor integrity. I focused on how well each drink matched its labeled flavor profile, considering sweetness, tartness, aroma, and overall drinkability.

Starting with the Original energy drink, the mysterious flavor hinted at on the blue can turned out to resemble the familiar taste of Red Bull. With 114 milligrams of caffeine and 39 grams of sugar, it delivers a tart, candy-like flavor that might appeal more to those who prefer sweeter energy drinks. For individuals watching their sugar intake, the Sugar-Free version offers a comparable experience with a smoother, less syrupy taste and a slightly livelier carbonation.

Next up was the Pink Mermaid, a vibrant combination of strawberry, coconut, and watermelon. With a flavor profile reminiscent of tropical punch, it stood out as a fruit-forward offering, delivering a delightful blend that felt both sweet and refreshing. This drink is also sugar-free, making it a guilt-free choice that doesn’t compromise on taste.

Then came the Nightshade, a strikingly purple drink that surprisingly features pomegranate, blue raspberry, and lavender flavors. This blend, though sweet and reminiscent of a slushie, proved to be less identifiable in its specific flavors, with the blue raspberry dominating the overall taste.

Finally, the Blue Lagoon combines blue raspberry and coconut, providing a more coherent flavor experience than the Nightshade. This drink, while still sweet, balances tangy and nutty notes effectively, showcasing a surprisingly pleasant tropical mix.

Overall, 7 Brew's transition from drive-thru to canned offerings successfully captures the essence of the original experience while allowing for convenient enjoyment on the go. With unique flavors and appealing profiles, these drinks are set to make a mark on Walmart's shelves and with consumers looking for a quick caffeine fix.
