Australia's ODI Squad for African Series Sees Major Changes

Marnus Labuschagne, a key player in Australia’s ODI lineup and World Cup champion, has been excluded from the squad for the upcoming series in Africa.
The Australian team will face Zimbabwe and South Africa in a three-match ODI series this month, followed by a Test series against the latter. While Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc are included, Labuschagne’s recent performance struggles led to his omission alongside four other players: Matt Short, Ben Dwarshuis, Todd Murphy, and Liam Scott.
Returning players Mitch Marsh and Travis Head aim to bolster the squad, which also features rising talents Cooper Connolly, Oliver Peake, and Joel Davies. The full squad is set to compete as Australia gears up for the next World Cup in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia.
